99 Names of Allah "Al Asma Ul Husna" The Correct 99 Names with meaning.
Do you know that there are 29 names among the 99 famous names of Allah "which are known worldwide" that are not correct and we shouldn't name Allah with them?
Give me your heart and mind and let me tell you.
First, why are these names famous and known worldwide?
The names of Allah are narrated only by its number "as they are 99 names of Allah" in a correct Hadith by the Prophet Mohamed SAW, but the second part of the Hadith which tells these names in details is not correct and not narrated or related to the prophet Mohamed SAW. This is the story in brief; and I'll tell you the details.
What is the Hadith of "Asma Ullah Alhosna"
I will tell you the Hadith in Arabic then I'll give you its translation:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah has ninety-nine Names, one-hundred less one; and he who memorized them all by heart will enter Paradise." To count something means to know it by heart.
Sahih al-Bukhari 7392
Book 97, Hadith 21
Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “God had ninety-nine names, one short of a hundered. He who retains them in his memory* will enter paradise.” A version has, “And He is One. He loves what is single.” *The Arabic is ahsaha, a word which has different meanings. Besides the meaning above can mean to number, to reach the last number, to understand, to attain comprehensive knowledge.
(Bukhari and Muslim.)
Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA):
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Verily! Allah has ninety-nine Names concerning which he who retains them in his memory will enter Paradise." [Agreed upon]. at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban listed the Names. However, investigations show that their listing is Idraj (an insertion) from one of the narrators [not from the words of the Prophet].
So, we learn from these Ahadeeth that Allah's names are counted as 99 names "The most famous names, Because Allah actually has other names" and we learn also that listing these names is narrated in Books of at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban and they mentioned that listing these names is and insertion from one of the narrators and not from the word of the prophet.
Now, we'll mention the Hadith which lists these 99 names and we'll know who is the narrator who inserted or listed these names.
Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying, “God Most High has ninety-nine names. He who retains them in his memory will enter paradise. He is God than whom there is no god, the Compassionate, the Merciful, the King, the Holy, the Source of Peace, the Preserver of security, the Protector, the Mighty, the Overpowering, the Great in Majesty, the Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner, the Forgiver, the Dominant, the Bestower, the Provider, the Decider, the Knower, the Withholder, the Plentiful Giver, the Abaser, the Exalter, the Honourer, the Humiliator, the Hearer, the Seer, the Judge, the Just, the Gracious, the Informed, the Clement, the Incomparably Great, the Forgiving, the Rewarder, the Most High, the Most Great, the Preserver, the Sustainer, the Reckoner, the Majestic, the Generous, the Watcher, the Answerer, the Liberal, the Wise, the Loving, the Glorious, the Raiser, the Witness, the Real, the Trustee, the Strong, the Firm, the Patron, the Praiseworthy, the All-Knowing, the Originator, the Restorer to life, the Giver of life, the Giver of death, the Living, the Eternal, the Self-sufficient, the Grand, the One, the Single, He to whom men repair, the Powerful, the Prevailing, the Advancer, the Delayer, the First, the Last, the Outward, the Inward, the Governor, the Sublime, the Amply Beneficent, the Accepter of Repentance, the Avenger, the Pardoner, the Kindly, the Ruler of the Kingdom, the Lord of Majesty and Splendour, the Equitable, the Gatherer, the Independent, the Enricher, the Depriver, the Harmer, the Benefiter, the Light, the Guide, the First Cause*, the Enduring, the Inheritor, the Director, the Patient.” *Or, 'the Incomparable' (al-badi').
Tirmidhi and Baihaqi, in [Kitab] ad-Da'awat al-kabir, transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this a gharib tradition (A Strange Hadeeth)
Imam Al Albany mention that this Hadith is weak and has no evidence that is related to prophet Mohamed SAW, while the Ahadith which mention the number are correct Ahadith as they are mentioned in Bukhari and Muslim; that is to say, these Ahadith have the ultimate strongest evidences that they are narrated by prophet Mohamed SWA.
Now, we should know who put these listing or the insertion of the names and mentioned after the correct Hadith.
The summary in this issue is what Imam "Ibn Taimeyah" told that there is no correct hadith tells the names of Allah in details or name them, and the most popular on people's tongues is the hadith in "Tirmidhi" narrated by "Alwaleed Ibn Moslem" الوليد بن مسلم from "Shoaeb Ibn Abey Hamzah" شعيب بن أبى حمزة , and the correct narrator of Ahadith mentioned that these listing is gathered by "Alwaleed Ibn Moslem" from his "Hadith scholars" and not mentioned by prophet Mohamed SAW.
Iman "Ibn AlQaiem" الإمام بن القيم told that listing or telling the names in details isn't related or mentioned by prophet Mohamed SAW.
In the following table we'll mention these names, and we'll color the incorrect names in Red Color.
We'll learn why these names aren't incorrect and why we shouldn't name Allah with them:
We should differentiate between the name and the attribute which describes Allah or his action

Before telling why these 29 names aren't correct names, we'll mention the conditions of "The correct Name"; that's is to say there are three conditions should be in the name to say that this name is one of "Allah's Names", and these three conditions are mentioned by great scholars or researchers in the field of "Allah's Names" and these three conditions are:
1 – The name should be Mentioned in Quran or Sunnah as a name and not deriving from verbs or actions.
2 – The name should be one of his calling names.
3 – The name should be complete or indicate to a complete attribute and has no shortage of defiance by anyway.
So, these 29 names are out of the 99 famous names mentioned in Quran or Sunnah, because they don't include one or more of these three conditions.
On the other hand scholars and researchers mention instead of these 29 names another group of 29 names which have the three conditions.
